The Brecon Beacons is one of Wales’ three stunning National Parks. It can look tranquil on a calm sunny day, majestic on a stormy day and eerie on a dark, dreary, misty day. Whenever you go there and whatever the weather there will always be navigational challenges. As well as the challenges of finding your way, the National Park covers a vast area of 1,350km² and contains the iconic peaks of Pen y Fan and Corn Du as well as remote, rarely visited summits, valleys and lakes.
